Go to Options -> Lighting Parameters to inspect it if you want, and feel free to use.įeel free to redistribute aspects of this for your own custom models, like putting her head on a new outfit. The scene lighting is also included in the utilities folder as previewlighting.scene.
If you don't like what I did with the colors, the utilities folder also has a color mask that you can use to redo it, plus a plain version of the Color0 diffuse (no overlays, no enhancement) just in case. Again, this is because I thought I looked it better. Some of the outfit areas like the shiny white plastic are changed to a metal effect instead. Feel free to edit if you think it should be different. Resting pose for MK11 hands is packed in the utilities folder, just in case you need it. Try holding down W and E at the same time while clicking and dragging. Just a tip, MK11 hands are hard to pose but if you use XPS keyboard shortcuts for it, by holding down two buttons at a time, it rotates diagonally and works great. My own BoneDict.txt for porting MK11 models to XPS is included in the file for anyone who wants to do this themselves. Vest adjust bones are still game default names, since they are mostly individual adjust points rather than bone chains. Face and body bones are all renamed to XPS standard. File includes facialcontrols.jpg for a guide about what controls which parts of the face. It's fully rigged with the MK11 armature and additional easy posing controls installed for your own convenience. This face is the same mesh as the original, due to new asymmetrical face rigging capabilities. I'm very proud of it and I really hope you like it. The eye reflection effect is also new and custom. Express1 is surprise, Express2 is anger, Express3 is happy, Express4 I'm not sure about, and Express5 is doubt/worry. Just swap them out with the material editor (Ctrl-T) you can use just the diffuse or both diffuse and normal. Expression textures are a new thing for MK11 ports! I transferred the wrinkle masks (smile, frown, etc) to the main face texture, so you can now make expressions more convincing in XPS.
She has her short hair because it looks better. No accessories, but you can find them elsewhere on dA. File has her preview pose and should work properly for all posing.
We should know who is next when the Kombat Kast returns next week.More pics of the model: /a/7hMdncR Going by today’s reveal, we still have Erron Black and Jacqui Briggs coming up. What is up with this family and hitting dudes in the pills? It’s not cool.Ĭassie was one of three fighters revealed earlier today. Afterward, she delivers a swift kick (again) to Kano’s dangly bits, sending his skull and spine flying from his body. Using her gun, she carves Kano vertically up the front. Her actual Fatality seems to be another nod to the Cage legacy. But naturally, in typical Mortal Kombat fashion, what you think is violent isn’t quite violent enough. I mean, it’s brutal and flashy enough to be a Fatality. Still, I don’t think I can be faulted for the Fatality mistake. Using the green aura, she wraps her fists and bullets and shows Kano how she really feels. What I thought earlier was her Fatality is actually her Fatal Blow. Drone shadow kick? Shadow drone kick? Learn From The Best I’d say it would probably be more prudent just to fire the gun straight without the theatrics, but OK. She can also reflect her bullets off the drone, for some reason. Cassie can also apparently transfer the aura to the drone, turning it into a projectile. Grabbing the drone, she propels her shadow kick across the screen. That’s not all the help she gets from the drone companion. Other than being able to perform the classic ball punch, she also shows off a grab move, where she positions Kano for a flying drone attack straight to his sensitive region. Of course, she wouldn’t be a Cage without some Cage moves. Wrapped in a green aura, she can use something similar to Johnny’s shadow kick.
Now, she appears to have a better grasp on how to weave it into her style.
Cassie’s hidden power passed down by her father Johnny was awoken in the events of the previous game.
In the reveal, she clearly has sharpened her skills, using a blend of martial arts and gunplay eerily reminiscent of Injustice 2‘s Red Hood.īut she definitely has some new tricks in her toolkit. Hers was a fighting style that took some inspiration from her parents, strengthened by military training. She was certainly a formidable fighter in the previous game. The Special Forces commander debuted in Mortal Kombat X as the snarky daughter of Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage. Facing off against her parents’ sworn enemy, Kano, Cassie shows off some new moves, with help from her drone companion.Īs the story trailer pointed out earlier, Cassie Cage is making a return to the Mortal Kombat roster. Cassie Cage stars in this latest reveal trailer for Mortal Kombat 11, as seen from today’s Kombat Kast.
